We love to color the fun stuff first!

I know… and I don’t blame you either.

Some weeks it feels like we hardly get a chance to touch our Copic Markers and colored pencils. So when we do squeeze a little coloring time in between work and family stuff, we want to color something fun!

Like really cool, super shiny reflections?

Do you blend everything smooth?

My latest Copic Marker Coloring Tips video at YouTube is all about texture.

As a beginner, most colorers focus on blending skills. After all, the blends are what originally attracted you to markers in the first place.

So you dream about blending, you practice blending, and the color blends are what you notice most when you go online to look at other coloring projects and tutorials.

Blend, blend, blend.

But wait, are you stuck on blending?

Coloring Glass is a Challenge

I'm not going to lie. Glass is something you work at but never master.

I know there are a lot of internet coloring tutorials for how to color glass, they almost always use a few BG Copics and you spend most of the time tracing the outline of the bottle, jar, or drinking glass.

Does that really look real to you?

Join us for art based coloring lessons on how to look at glass through an artist's eye- clues to look for, materials to use, and when + how to highlight. This class is the first step to really coloring glass rather than outlining it!
